Haemostatic sponge Vericol is the native lyophilized equine (Vericol H) or avian (Vericol CH) collagen type I. Vericol is intended for local cover and stoppage bleeding. It is a haemostatic cover with a high absorption capacity.

It is non - toxic, biocompatible, stimulates wound healing processes. It also has a good adhesion to surfaces. The porous structure has a high absorption capacity. The product is sterilized by gamma - radiation, contains no preservatives or chemicals.

The porous structure and surface of the product contribute to the blood coagulation. Then collagen foam efficiently absorbs exudation. Collagen sponge VERICOL plus is made from equine (Vericol H plus) or avian (Vericol CH plus) collagen type I and hyaluronic acid by lyophilization. Vericol plus is intended for local cover and stoppage bleeding. Hyaluronic acid provide the increased anti-inflamatory effect and cause the faster scar healing. Vericol plus is intended for use in patients with deep and surface defects, acute and superficial wounds to remove infected necroses. It can also be used for the treatment of defects in chronic venous insufficiency, in patients with diabetic foot syndrome and in burn injuries.
